Who are our Assessors?

Learn about who our ADHD and ASD assessors are

At Atypically, we work with a carefully selected network of qualified and experienced professionals who specialise in Autism and ADHD assessments. Every assessor we collaborate with is registered with the appropriate UK professional bodies and operates in accordance with NICE guidelines and evidence-based best practice. Most of our assessors have a background of working with the NHS, or still do.

We know that choosing who to trust with your child’s assessment—or your own—can feel like a big decision. That’s why we only connect families with assessors who have a proven track record in neurodevelopmental assessments, and who bring empathy, clinical understanding, and professionalism to every case. Many of our assessors have backgrounds in clinical psychology, psychiatry, paediatrics, or specialist neurodevelopmental nursing, and all hold the appropriate postgraduate training and clinical accreditation for conducting Autism and ADHD assessments in the UK.

Our role at Atypically is to make this process simple, transparent, and reassuring. We’ve built strong partnerships with trusted assessment providers across the UK, allowing us to match you with the right specialist for your needs. Each assessor follows recognised diagnostic frameworks, ensuring their reports meet the standards required by schools, the NHS, and local authorities.

We also prioritise ongoing quality and consistency. Every assessor within our network is regularly reviewed for clinical accuracy, ethical practice, and client feedback. This commitment to quality ensures that every assessment arranged through Atypically delivers not just a diagnosis, but genuine understanding and guidance for the next steps in your journey.

By choosing Atypically, you’re accessing a network of trusted professionals who share one goal—to help you gain clarity, confidence, and the support your child or family deserves.
